Default cant find source of leaking coolant

My 05 Duramax is leaking coolant from the middle of the front of the engine. I cant find the source of the leak, and was wondering if anyone had an idea where its coming from?

The thing is it comes and goes its not constant meaning ill go to the store and there will be a huge puddle under the truck and when i get home it wont leak at all. Leave it overnight and theres a small trickle thats under the truck. any ideas?

Thanks in advance

had the same prob. pulled all the skid plates, looked at every hose i could think of, repositioned some clamps, swaped some clamps (went from the crimp type to the screw type) found a small line off the diff that didnt have a clamp so i clamped it. threw the skids back on and havent seen any coolant yet.

My suggestion to you is get a leak finder kit. It uses a dye the glows under a black light. Here is the kit I have used and works great.

Water pump maybe? They have a kit that pressurizes the system to help find your leak when the truck is off.
