LLY or ?

Okay so Im pretty sure my truck is an LLY but my dad says he thinks it may be an LB7..... How do I figure out what it is? and ps the sticker isnt on it

8th digit of the VIN-
1= LB7
2= LLY

pop ur hood, look at the injectors, if u can see the injector, it is a lly, and if the injector is under the valve cover and all u can see is the injector line then its a lb7

or look at the build date on the side of drivers door if its a early 04 then is the lb7 if its a late o4 then its the lly. vin code would be the easiest...
