Default im stumped.

ok so i bought a 04 lly low miles good condition, and it has some toys like an edge juice with attitude programer, AFE cold air intake, and a 4'' exhaust down pipe back. dont plan on doig much more to my rig for some time but i have had some problems. when starting it sounds like the starter is going on it. so i replaced the starter and the grinding sound when starting continues. re dropper the starter to check the flex plate and the teeth seem fine no chips or other damage.

not sure what it could be??? i had a buddy who is a diesel tech(rookie) and he is not sure what it could be either.

Did you get an after-market starter (generic auto parts store) or a factory rebuilt unit. I've seen this happen to quite a few trucks. The Isuzu remand fixed it every time. I would get it fixed soon. It can destroy your FP if you keep using it.
