Angry blue smoke

Does anybody know if it's normal for my lly duramax to smoke (oil) on the start-up? The truck just started doing it when I hit 103,000 it's not burning or losing oil or pressure.

Thanks, Dually04

The first thing you need to check is to make sure the PCV system isnt plugged. If it is you will get a white smoke from your exhaust. If the PCV is ok then you most likely have a bad injector thats leaking past the seat until it warms up. Check your oil level and see if there is diesel in it.

sounds like you"ve got a bad barrel and it's over fueling when you shut it down and it loses rail psi.
