Default LLY Smoking on WOT

Don't know if this is normal, but I can make the LLY smoke for a few seconds under WOT when doing about 30 mph. Never noticed it before, but I changed from the standard mirrors to the tow mirrors and can now see the tip.

And it does it in stock tune with Banks intake, intercooler, exhaust, EGR delete and a finger stick installed.

Any ideas????

why do some diesels smoke so much anyway? I live out in farm country and there are some trucks with huge smokestacks that just smoke all the way down the road. That looks dumb.

Cleaned it this weekend. Thought that might be the issue. The filter indicator was still showing 100%. Think it might be an injector getting ready to go, or possibly the turbo... It usually has 3 psi on the boost when the smoke starts, but goes away when it gets to about 10 psi. I have seen misfire on the #8 injector occasionally but that is when I let it sit in high idle for 5 minutes or more.

Does anyone know what the pressures should be on the LLY and the rpm at which it should be checked??

Air Conditioner pressures. Mine is starting to act strange.

What Tech II do you have and where did you get it? Also thinking about getting EFI Live, but I would probably end up frying everything from the front bumper to the chrome ball in the receiver just to try and get that one more horsepower or one more foot pound of torque out of it.
