Default Autoheadlights come on and stay on during day

My 2004 automatic headlights have been doing this for a while. They come on in a low light condition, but will not go back off once the outside light is bright. An example, if I start the truck while it is under the carport the headlights come on. When I back out, sometimes the lights do not turn off.

The headlights usually come on when I turn the key on. Other people with similar vehicles have been behind me and their headlights are not on and mine are.

WTF. Has anyone had to replace the bubble light sensor on the dash?? If so, can you troubleshoot it with a multimeter, or does it just get replaced when the headlights act stupid.

I have the same problem, my trucks sit in a garage so they come on when I leave and they dont turn off.

So i just turn mine off evrytime i get into the truck. On my 05 and 06 I just turn the headlight **** down and it turns off on my 01 i gotta push the dome light 3 times to turn it off.

I try not to keep stuff on the dashboard, it tends to slide around when playing.
