Oil in turbo.

This farmer i work for has a 04.5 lly 2500 duramax and says the turbo is filled with oil. I'll admit I don't know much about Duramaxes. Is this normal? What could cause this?

Normal. The PCV system dumps off into the intake mouthpiece. A lot of people plug off the mouthpiece and reroute the PCV hose to the atmosphere.
