Default 05 duramax help no start wint stay primed

hi guys new here . I have a 2005 c4500 just bought few weeks ago . truck ran fine until about 150 miles then went into limp mode code 1093 . would shut it off wait awhile and would start up then get a few miles then limp mode again . would stay running . so i changed filter . Got 130 miles limp mode. so i changed the filter head and FPRV and fuel pressure valve with a race valve . now when i prime it it starts then losses its prim . even if i don't start it i can prime the pump up hard as a rock then what 30 seconds then its soft again. It held its prime before i changed every thing. i dont see any fuel anywhere. i ran a few tests pressure the fuel tank and seen no leaks . I took off hose off the side from the fuel filter housing going to the cp3 and put 5 pounds of air to it and i could hear the fuel in the tank gurgle. Im sure this isn't right .any ideas? thank

Well i guess no one cares to answer . Well for all its worth i found the problem . wasn't a leak in the line or anything to do with the filter head .

I just saw this but the only problems I've ever had were filter heads, filter O Ring, or a cracked Injector line.

I swapped to the nicktane kit, fass pump w/o filter, and wix pre filter. After that I never had issues

Thanks Tanman , It turns out the cp3 was returning all the fuel to the tank through the return lines from the pump. bad check valve .

Default losing prime

Just bought my first diesel..an 05 3500 lly duramax with 90K miles, runs perfect ,tows perfect...BUT seem to need to prime fuel filter at times when it idles a few seconds then stalls, also iv orders a rebuild kit for seals in filter housing and have noticed the filter present is a wix 33528 which does not have a place to attach a water sensor....advise??
