Default Need some help with a stack of codes

The short of the story is I've been having issues for a while now, but it seems to be getting worse, to the point I thought for sure I was going to be stranded today.

Here's the long story.
Today the throttle quit working while driving down the highway, started just random then quit completely. Idled to the side of the road, checked codes, reset codes, and drove away like nothing ever happened.
P1223 P1226 P1229 P1232 P1235 P1238 P1241 P2133 P2139 P2140
Checked with a newer Edge programmer.

A few miles down the road it stumbled a little bit, but never totally quit. drove the 20 miles home, the truck didn't sound right, extra clatter and like it was struggling, but drove fairly normal.
Checked codes, got P2133 P2139 P2140

I always (for the past year+) have gotten P2133 (the only consistent thing this truck has been doing!) Haven't figured out what would cause that.
The APPS has been changed twice, once by the dealer 3 or so years ago, once by me about 8 months ago thinking that may be the problem. Each time it seemed to work for a while, but the problem was a bit different each time. The last time, I got code p2133 immediately after but the truck drove fine so I wasn't worried.

Lately the truck has had a stumble or hesitation or surge at steady throttle position and a different sound than usual. Not all the time, pretty random but more frequent lately.

Injector balance is ok, seem to bounce around a lot, but within spec. Enough that it seems like this is another symptom. The engine sound does change when the numbers are really bouncing around.

I've checked wires, checked plugs, no change.

Thought about grounds but don't really know where to begin there. Possible cause?

From some research reading, the PCM or FICM could be at fault?

What really got me was clearing the codes without even shutting off the engine cleared it up, at least for a few miles.

Thanks in advance for any help! I'm going nuts thinking about this one. The engineer in me is performing an FMEA in my head, but the list of possibilities is becoming overwhelming.
