Sad loses power ? app

Will run ok for awhile then will lose power. After I turn off the switch will sometimes be ok for awhile, sometimes will be the same. Mech said might have app problems.

Default changed fuel filter the first time in did this 5 days ago.

Have been getting code P0207 # seven fuel injector open or shorted. Would it run normal if the fuel injector was bad? I ran it 3 miles up to 55 mph and ran great. I did fill the fuel filter with c foam right before. ???

are you sure this is not an LLY? they have injector harness problems. typically its #2 and #7.

if yes, then inspect the harness for rubbing through and repair any found.

Default LB7 or LLY?

I don't know how to tell the difference, but I'am going to check the wiring harness for sure. Will let you know. Thanks

check the valve covers. LB7 has only fuel lines going into it on the top, with the LLY the valve covers are cut out for the injectors

LB7 is on top, LLY is on bottom

also you may want to do the "Ice Pick" trick if it is an LLY

injectors #2 & #7 have connection issues. using an ice pick put a dimple in the connectors to provide a more positive connection

Default ice pick

figured out the ice pick. hasn't fixed the problem, mech said I need a new harness. going to let him do it for $540.00 includes the diag he did. I heard that the harness is $250.00.
Mech has a good reputation will give him a try, tired of not having my truck. thanks all

sounds good.

FYI - most of the "rub throughs" are at the altanator where the harness rubs on a sharp bracket corner. did you check there?
