Default no start sometimes

So my truck has been acting weird sometimes. It always starts great weather it be hot or cold doesnt matter. But if it only runs for 20 seconds or less before it is shut off it cranks a long time before it starts the next time, sometimes it wont so i shut the key off for a minute and try it again where it cranks a long time before starting. Has anyone else ran into something like that?

sounds like there may be a small leak in the fuel line somewhere. the fuel filter bleed screw and primer bulb are often to blame. what could be happening, is that the leak is allowing air to get into the line and when the engine is not run long enough it doesn't have time to evacuate all of the air out to allow it to start up again, thus necessitating excessive cranking.

does the engine start quicker if you prime it first?
