Can anyone tell me why my dash lights and guages will not come on until after my truck is already started and running for several minutes??? I have a 2004 2500hd lb7 with a banks six gun tuner hooked up. Thanks

 

These trucks have auto lights that im sure ur aware of the photo cell is the black dot in the middle of ur dash by the window. It might be going bad possibly. If your e brake is on they wont come on automatically until its let free. Are u turning the lights on with the switch or are u using the auto setting? U might try putting a towel over the photo cell and see if that changes anything

 

My buddy is having Instrument panel problems and I have been trying to help him and in doing so i have came across this subject before and from what IV read they had an update on the wake up voltage for the gauges and u can call a dealer and they can run your vin number and see if u have the update
