i've got an 02 lb7 duramax. i've had a edge juice with attidude on it and it locked it down today twice so i turned the chip off....i was loving it....any ideas on makin it not lock down my truck or go into limp mood????

 

What were you doing when the truck did that?

 

i was honestly just drivin down the road not givin it hell or anything....i've had for two weeks and have been gettin on it but i was just driving

 

Is the truck just falling flat on its face? Or is it throwing codes of any sort?

 

rpm speedometer everything goes crazy...then the steerin wheel locks up and i have to cut the truck off then turn it back on and everythings fine.

 

I would call edge. But moe then likely its the edge juice thats doing

 

it is the edge thats doin it. i cut it off and its fine.

 

Yeah more than likely it something in the deg not communicating correctly with the truck. I would honestly say get rid of the edge and go with something like efi, or a ppe of somesort

 

i want efi live so bad but i dont want it to hurt my tranny.

 

Efi would be easier on your trans and you can get a trans tune as well
