efi live can be adjusted for any modification your currently have, you will have to get with the guy who tunes your truck and work with him to get the best results.

I have a relatively stock truck (exhaust/EFI Live tune) and it made a huge difference. I would do it.

Exhaust, intake, EFI live can put down 500hp.

@9mmkungfu, is the Allison holding up to that kind of power without mods?

I have only had the tunes installed since Sunday. I don't run it on the highest hp setting regularly. I save it for max-effort acceleration (track/race). Usually I'm putting around in the stock tune to keep my trans in good shape

The Allison is 'safe' 150hp over stock.

Also - the 6-speeds are a little stronger than the 5-speeds.

Good call out. The six speeds also see benefit from a transgo jr.

I'd say 90-120hp over stock is safe. I had a 150hp tune on my lbz stock trans and it was iffy.

Please show me how you put down 500 on a stock trans? With all my mods and my efi 120 tune, I can just feel my tranny hurting....

Yeah 500hp requires a tranny, lift pump, and a big tune.
