Default Wont start after CP3 and 8 injector replacenment

Anyone have any advice on how to get the fuel system bled after changing the CP3 pump and all 8 injectors.

Basically I can get the primer to get rock hard I crank the engine and then it is soft again. I have repeated about 10 times and expected it to start,

Why were they replaced, sounds like you might be getting some air. We prime till the primer is tight and fire the truck up, might give a little stumble but usually takes off. If not might have to prime once more. Have you checked the fuel filter housing for leaks

I replaced injectors and pump due to livining on an island and not being able to just go pick up another part, but the reason I did the work was I was getting a P0093 Fuel leak Large, and had just started loosing power. Probably could have just done injectors but since I had it broken down I changed the pump too(takes a week to get parts). When I stepped on the gas I got very little acceleration and a lot of smoke so I think the pump was still good. When removing the injectors one of the o rings had blown out of its groove and that injector had a lot of oil south of the oring. Pretty sure that is where my fuel leak was.

So, even with a dry system, the primer should get fuel to all the places it needs to be? no need to crack any lines, it should just fire right up?

Did you bleed the filter? The common rail pressures can cause injury or death if the lines are cracked. If you were to open the feed to the rail completely you you wouldn't build any pressure , but you would be right back where you started.
You may have some extended crank and priming with everything being out but if you prime till tight crank for 45 seconds prime again, crank for 45 seconds it should within 3 or 4 tries.

Thanks for that, I wouldn't have cranked it for 45 seconds, I probably didn't go for more than 20 seconds. Will try and hopefully be able to tell you I got it.

Sometimes you have to push the starter time a bit longer, just make sure you give the starter an extended cool down time.

I just got it running again.

The crank sensor had a bent pin,so only two of the three pins were making contact. Straightened the pin and it started right up

That will usually keep it from starting
