Default Turbo question

I'm wanting to build a 600hp truck and was wondering what the best turbo would be for that. It's eventually going to have a twin set up but for now im wondering what would be a good turbo for 600hp and can eventually be my starter for my twin. The truck is a daily driver so the turbo needs to be reliable that will last me for all the hauling and dumb driving that will be put on it. Any answers?

High Tech Turbo

gt42. putting an 475 ontop of the stock turbo, htt, s300, s400 will all get you there and they all are good combos to start off with.

Thanks for all the help. Do you have a preference of witch one of those charges will be the most reliable and get me my 600+hp goal the easiest? The truck is still going to be my daily driver and the turbo will have to put up with my random lead foot and 30ft gooseneck on the highway.

stock turbo with a s475 on top can make over 600.

gt42 can do that all on its own and then some.

all those listed above in my previous post are reliable.

Now are you talking about the GT4202R or the GT4294R? Sorry I just want to be certain. I'd still like the truck to spool decent with not a bunch of lag like the s400 on my old cummins . Thanks for all your help 2500HeavyDuty.

oh i forgot about the gt4094R, its a smaller turbo but it does the job well.

you would want the gt4294, the 4202 is a big boy.
