12 dollars is for the kit.

for the valve cover bolts nope. itl be ok. heck the factory glue on its own can hold that lower valve cover without any bolts

most factory glue is some pretty nasty stuff. just looking at the VC, it looks like there is plenty enough room in there for a hex head. seeings how it would probably end up being a 10 mil head. also in the process of pulling the coves, 2 ears around the bolt holes broke off. he thinks he can just weld around it and build it up and re drill. but last i checked cast aluminum doesn't weld worth a crap. so is he going to have to get a new valve cover?

Most cast you can tig but being its the valve cover that's been covered in oil good luck.

yeah. we have a few tig machines at the shop but i've tied tiggin cast before and it didn't work out so well. and the oil won't help at all. it's worth a try tho.

i could do 2 maybe three full sets of 7.3l injectors in the time it takes me to do just one side of a lb7.

that ain't no ****. i'm pretty sure i could do the 7.3 blindfolded. popped the hood on the durawax and just about crapped my pants. but now he's thinkin about selling the pickup.

You might get a fuel knock if you only replace half of them

It's not that difficult but very time consuming. Is there anything else wrong with the truck?
