Why do say that ppe is the best out of the box. i have read alittle bit about them but i want somethings that will roll the coals more then hot shot power.

minus the fact that you can get around all that if you know how but you wouldnt know that at all by the sounds of things. my buddies 03 can roal the coals more then my buddies 12 valve and hes got a bully dog but i just wanted to know what else was out there.

Rollin coal Is a sign of a poorly tuned dirty max. Not saying a dmax won't blow smoke, and mine will put out a hefty cloud at 7,000 feet above level but it clears up and is nothing more than a haze after a very very short time. Sea level my truck barely smokes and will make edge box dmax trucks look slow.
If all you want is smoke, plastic bag over the filter will make it smoke

Agreed, I have a 475rwhp that will rip the trans apart in a hurry and it hardly "rolls the coal" it will dump a little smoke at take off and it cleans up right away
Rolling Coal is pointless, juvenile and only hurts the diesel sport, get a clean tune and you can make the tires smoke, not the exhaust

, tires don't like it too much. as for black just a slight haze at best!

Ok i was sold on the efi live so i bought the pcm with the five switch for duramaxtuner.com so now im just waiting for it to get here and then will go aroungd and race the ricers in the town.
