Default cp3 change out

I recently changed my cp3 to a rebuilt pump from pensacola diesel. All went well until I started the truck. Engine started loping and showing no oil pressure. I could rev engine up and loping seemed to stop until it came back to an idle. Called the shop that i bought the pump from they seemed to think that it was the fuel pressure regulator. The one that came on the pump was new but the company sent me another one brand new. Well, installed it on new pump now the same thing happens. Don't know what could be wrong. I checked all wiring connectors to see if i missed one. Anybody got any ideas? I don't have a code reader to see what codes might be on it.

Lope means too much Fuel pressure to the rails

Pensacola diesel is notorious for having bad products

think pump is bad? I've got more than one bad review of pensacola diesel.

I show no oil pressure on my gauge but the engine doesn't sound as if no oil is pumping. Do you know where the oil pressure sensor is located? I may have left a harness unplugged.

Oil pressure sending unit is on the driver side on the other side of the steering shaft, under the powersteering oumo.

Take the pump out and send it back to pensacola now, I made the mistake of buying their injectors years ago and I went throught four sets of injectors in a summer. Get your money back and get the real thing.

Thanks I found a wire that was broken in a harness by the fuel rail. It was a three wire harness that i repaired and now truck runs great. I still have no oil pressure. I haven't checked with a mechanical gauge to see but truck sounds great im sure it has pressure. I won't buy from pensacola diesel anymore I have heard nothing but bad reviews on them.
