Default going down interstate.... then BAM!

First off - I'm driving down the interstate 70mph and all of the sudden I lose tension on the pedal. I initially thought the truck had died... but when I started to slow down I realized that I could still run about 30mph. I would give it more gas and get no response. If I kept the pedal steady, I could keep it at 30mph. It sounded rough, but not jumping around.. just sounded like an old tractor. I thought it may be the fuel filter - so I changed it. This did not help. When I let the truck sit for a few minutes, It will start fine and run fine for a few seconds.. long enough to get up to speed, then fall on its face again. I just had injectors installed 2 weeks ago, since then I installed a diablosport predator on 65hp setting - and adjusted the tire size to my size. 285x75x16. No issues before this happened. No warning at all.... Please help.

thanks!

Try taking the predator off of the truck and see what it does.

It almost sounds like you lost an injector. I don't know a lot about the duramax though.

He just got done installing factory BOSCH reman injectors, so I doubt they are the problem.

Any other ideas?

it sounds like to me that your wiring harness for your injectors might have gotten pinched inbetween a valve cover when they were putting it back together. sometning is grounding out if its throwing codes for your injectors that were just replaced

i would take it back where it was done at and have them fix it for free if thats the case. i would do some checking to see if its something obvious. but i would check connectors to the injector wiring harness if there is one. then check around where it goes into the valve cover and see if its smashed. i would bet its probably one of the wires under the valve cover, its a 2 piece valve cover and when they were putting the top piece of the valve cover on ill bet a #4 injector wire was in between them and pinched it. or mabye the nut holding the wire to the injector is loose. there is alot of stuff to check and its a pain the to get the valve covers off but it has to be something when they replaced the injectors. im not sure which side of the motor has inj.#4 but start on that side
