Default another injector question...

so ive read the forums and been doing my research. i NEED new injectors, im blowing white smoke and i pulled up the ballance rates and #2 and #8 were way off, and the rest are starting to slip as well. now my questions are this; can i just replace the nozzles? do i need to buy new, or are there re-manufactured ones worth a damn? and is there a way to not pay the core charge? and is it worth stepping it up to a 50HP nozzle, or staying stock? im also on a budget but most importantly, i do not want to have to do this again!! dealer screwed me on the warrenty, so im doing this fix myself.

oh, and its a 04' LB7 with 123,000 miles. thanks yall!

never been around duramax injectors but it cant be too different from PSD and CTD. yes you can just get nozzles, have 2 buddues who did that on there cummins, worked for them. i would personally go with new, youre forking out the cash, fork out a little more for the new ones. no idea about the core charge. YES. getting stage 1 or 2 or whatever stage injectors you want are worth the money. just keep in mind that the higher stage you go the more supporting mods youll have to do.

IMHO stick with stockers, they can support up to or over 500hp, and if your on a budget i would go that route

Duramax LB7 Fuel Injector<< theses are new BOSCH injectors with the upgraded body to reduce the chance of cracking the bodies, you have to pay core, but you get it back when you send yours back to them so whats the big deal?

well, with the added core charge, your looking at an additional 1200 ish dollers, so for a full set of injectors, with a core charge, were at 3000 to 4160, depending on brand and size. thats an awfull lot of money and the military doesnt pay me that well.....

yeah that is a lot of money, but like what brightwhiteram said, you get that 1200 back. i understand where youre coming from tho, but like you stated, you have to have them, some things you just have to fork the cash out for cuz you have to have them.

It sucks man I had to just replace all mine two went, but just rather replace them all and start fresh. It is expensive. Could be worse I had to get my head gasket's done and then a month went by and my injectors started failing had to get replaced replaced then.

stick with stock, they're cheaper, buying just the tips wont solve the problem.

What about remanufactured with 50 HP dragonfly nozzles for a good price?
