Default Tire Size Question

I need to get new tires and would love to get new rims as well, but the budget isnt that big right now. What is the biggest tire size I can put on the stock rim with a leveling kit installed. I am looking to go with a LT285/75R16 General Grabber AT

I have heard of 305's but they needed a little trimming
285's should fit no problem

i put 315/70/16s mickey thompson mtz's on my stock 04 with the bars cranked up,the leveling kit is a waste of money your stock keys will bring it up past level. you will have to trim a little bit but not alot.

I had 315/75/16 on the stock duramax rims before I bought h2 rims.

Hmm,i tried to put a set of h2 rims on my dmax but they wouldnt fit on the rear cause the center hole was to small for the hub. I dont think its possible to lift the front 3 inchs higher then the stock keys with lift cause it would bottom out the A-arm stops.

Maybe your rite thats just what I was told when it was installed. Nothing is bottomed out, I still have a lil rubbing when the wheels r turned all the way in reverse. Other than that its fine. You couldve had the centers trimmed out to fit the h2.
