Injectors maybe???
Ok, i've been holding out long enough...
Yesterday when i cranked the truck for the first time of the day, walking back from the dog pen, i noticed smalls puffs of white smoke from my exhaust tip - barely noticable... I know on gassers, this is just condensation burning off or steam... Is that the case with diesels too? or is there a chance my injectors are going bad... I have had a slight loss in performance lately (maybe 10% loss), but really no other signs of problems...
I've got straight pipe exhaust, stock motor, and about 141,000 miles... Help please! Thanks

Fuel filter has less than 1200 miles on it, oil and filter has less than 1200 miles on it, injectors have never been touched as far as i know... And as for bio-diesel, that's a NO... I run straight diesel...
It's been running good today but i really have to lay on the throttle to get it up and out of it's own way, otherwise i still have the loss of power... and as for the smoke, like i said before, it's only minimal... you can barely notice it, almost like only one cylinder is smoking...
Just incase this is the problem or helps the problem...I am getting a code for the glow plug circuit A... I have not tested this plug or relay yet... If i need to do this first, then let me know and i will do it... I'll probably do the glow plug thing tomorrow either way...
Thanks for the input... please feed me more if you know anything... Thanks again

does fuel in the oil mean bad injectors??? i will check asap and post the oil consistancy... I do loose oil pressure when at idle - it drops to like 25-30 psi, but as soon as i rev to any RPMS it jumps back up to 70-80 psi... its done that since i've had it tho (about 128,000 miles)... as always, thanks for the help!

I dabbed some oil off the dipstick today... It didn't seem abnormal - i guess!!! it traveled some (like 1/16th of an inch from the dipstick) but held it's consistancy... It has no strong smell of anything, wouldn't it smell like diesel??? I'm lost now, maybe i'll jump on that glow plug and see what that does for me... Please, any more info would be awesome... Thanks again
