the search is on!!!!!
well, the ole rig is in the shop, sitting in the operating romm. A couple days ago i was merging into traffic and my truck fell on its face when i was trying to accelerate, (as vehicles were headed up my backside). It felt like clogged fuel filter but I had just changed it a week before. Happened after 2500 RPMs. I pulled codes and p1094, p1093. the 1093 has been with me few a while, but the 1094 has not. Anyway, the shop is running a varity of test to locate my fuel delivery delimma. They told me my pressure is bleeding out somewhere. they are gonna check my filter housing by putting clear tubes (bubbles). I have no hard starts ever (injector). They think it may be fuel pump in tank....? They also said my pressures were at 1.0 and my spec pressures should be at 1.3 or 1.4. dunno what those measurements are but kinda makes sense.

Im assuming it had something to do with the fuel rail pressure. But I always read them being in the 10,000-20something-thousand, not 1.3 or whatever. Maybe he was just using an example. well he tested my injectors (he said they were good and strong). he told me he took it out with something hooked up to it, and said, while driving hard ( passing someone, or flooring it) the pressure would be half of what it was calling for. but under normal driving things were fine. Sooo, they told me the fuel pressure regulator is bad and the cp3 is on its way out.
2500HD, you were right the whole time.
they quoted me $2000 to fix it. yikes!
I said i would have to wait and think about it, since it drives fine under normal driving.
He also said it drives better without the diablo hooked up. I can see how that would be since the tuner prolly puts more demand on a weak pump.
