Im asking about the D-MAX`s. My buddy just bought an 03 crew cab 4x4 2500 for his work truck and he drives all over the place as much as I do(2k-3k a week). just wondering how to get the best milage.

best way people get mileage around here is either get a ford 7.3 and throw an economy chip in it, around 18-19 or sacrifice all the power and reliability of the ford and buy a 02-04 dodge 5.9 put an economy chip in it and get around 20 or so. everyone i know with a chevy dirtymax gets around 12-14, but all of these numbers are with some hard throttle and hills and pulling trailers

It really is sad that the new trucks get less MPG than the oldies...

My 95 12v cummins got 23mpg on my FIRST tank of owning it (lots of smoke). That's sayin something!

my dmax was geting 21 on hwy and around 18 in town stock i put the edge evo in and it seemed to help a little but still cant complain. These are 3/4 or 1 ton ton trucks anything over 18 is pretty good to me.

my lb7 gets between 19-24 mpg highway, and 10-12 city, ranchhand front bumper, banks intake and exaust, ppe economy tuner, 265 75r 16 firestone transforce at's, tough country leveling kit, even with bad injectors.
