Default Duramax S366 turbo help

Hi guys, I am upgrading my turbo since my stocker finally blew and i need a little help deciding on how to set it up properly. I am not going to spend $2500 on a no thought required kit when i could very easily build my own pedestal/downpipe/intake. Its very difficult to find any information regarding what works well with a duramax, because no one realy talks about anything other then compressor size or this kit or that kit kind of thing.

I'm looking at an S366 with a 66mm compressor, 73mm turbine, and .91 a/r, i don't know the trim but it doesn't seem to be of too much importance from what i have read. I want a reasonably quick spooling set up, so I think that tight a/r will work out fine but i am concerned that a 66mm compressor may be a little too much for an all stock engine.

please give me any thoughts and opinions about schwitzer turbo set ups. but please, no "get a brand x kit, they work the best" unless you have specs.

I went ahead and got me that turbo, he let me have it for $800 and its a new/reman turbo. i wanted a smaller compressor, but for the price i couldn't find anything else, and later on when i do studs I will be glad i have the 66mm anyways. If it doesn't work well then there is always parts available for those turbos so it seems like a pretty good investment in the long run. And i figure by the time I'm done it'll still be cheaper then a new/reman stock turbo.

now i just gotta decide on a waste gate, I'm looking at some used turbonetics deltagate II's, but I'm not sure if 38mm will be enough. I think most would agree here that I'm better off with a used turbonetics/otherwise on brand piece then a new OBX (ebay) Chinese pile of junk, no? because they're roughly the same price.
