Default Terrible surge at hard throttle

i have an 02 lb7 i have added an a cold air, edge attitude, 4 in turbo back, the injectors were replaced about a year ago. The problem i am having is at at a hard throttle it surges something fierce i have noticed a surge at idle is all this a regulator problem and should i also install a lift pump so not to starve the pump of fuel? just looking for a point in the right direction

I have an 03 with the PPE hot +2. I have the same problem, I turned down my tune a level and it runs good. What hp tune are you running?

Check your (FPR) fuel pressure regulator if you have EFI Live go into the scan tool and log the FPRCOMM PID and that should tell you if you have a problem.

I'm dealing with injector issues right now, but as I was doing that, I found the feul line at the left rear of the engine (where it comes up from the trans to the QD fitting) was crimped nearly shut- to the point that any suction from the fuel pump probably closed it down.

That line from GM is $405 (list), it's the complete line from the tank forward. I repaired mine with a piece of diesel fuel rated hose and a couple of clamps for $10. Carefully cut the bands that hold the coupling on, spread them apart and pull. Comes right apart.
