13,500 will get you in a decent duramax. I only paid 14 for mine (I think) and it was an 03 with 86k and a clear title history and 100% dealer serviced.

And learning a stick is not a problem, my wife learned in a day in a school parking lot and was drag racing a Mustang GT at the track a couple of weeks later. :c:

I miss my manual Duramax :( It should be pretty easy to get used to. There is enough torque in a diesel that you really dont have to give it much throttle. I taught a girl how to drive a stick with mine. It didnt take her long to get the hang of it and she never drove a manual before.

Nothin hard about a manual...with the right attitude. My son learned in a couple hours (right attitude), my wife still says she can't drive one & I've had a 5 speed TJ for about 5 years now(wrong attitude). You should have no trouble learning with all the torque a diesel makes. Enjoy your new truck.

I'd keep the 6.0L personally, it's made it this far and seems to be relatively problem free, i've heard some going over 400k miles with no bad problems, and what i've come to realize is you're not getting the Dmax with the manual?

Yeah I didnt get the D-Max the guy was askin to much for it. So I sold my 6.0 and bought a 2001 F350 with only 121000 miles on it with the 7.3. I love it Im diggin tha 7.3:choochoo:

nice, the 7.3 is a little short on power compared to modern engines today, but they are very reliable comparative to the 6.0

and they have alot less problems than the 6.0s. and some of the dmax's had 6 speed manuals. my bro has one.
