Default $1000.00 (That is correct, one thousand dollars) 03 Duramax

I have found a 2003 1 ton dually duramax/allison pickup for $1000 dollars. Guy says it runs good when it runs, but it needs a computer. I don't have specifics, but what do you guys think? I don't have the money laying around, be stretching myself thin to get it. Shouldn't be too hard I hope? Anyhow, I am going to talk to him more to find out what it is doing that he only wants a thousand for it. It only has 102,000 miles.

If you don't buy it let us know, I would jump all over that in a heartbeat as long as it runs enough to get it on a trailer.

I finally talked to him about specifics. There are two. Both between 100,000 and 105,000 miles. 3500 2wd dually long frames. 1 has bad rear end and other has a bashed in passenger door. Both start and run with a load, unloaded they both stutter and smoke and he is tired of dealing with it. I am trading for hand tools and a cutting torch, and a couple of air wrenches. SOOO, I am going to fiddle with them (with your help) and then what doesn't work will get parted out REALLY cheap.
