i am looking to buy an 03 Duramax. it has a Custom front off-road bumper, towing airbags, truck bed tool box, banks 6-gun tuner, upgraded turbo wastegate, banks exaust from turbo back, spray liner. is this a good set up? or are there any problems with those engines?

are there any problems with the injectors, transmission, anything with that year truck

 

They were known to have injector issues on 01-04,(the LB7) in 04.5 they refine the engine (LLY) that had the injector issues fixed.

 

are there ways to fix this problem im new to buying a diesel. so i have no clue.

 

Check the vehicle history and see what has been done to it. How many miles does it have?

The injectors are the only issue. My '03 had them replaced early on and since then it's been running fine.

 

its a used truck and idk the VIN it has 68k miles to my knowledge i havent seen it in person. i emailed his to find out more info but waiting.
