something bad happened today. driving home from work, got on it a little bit and went into limp mode with the SCIV. it threw a P1721( trim solenoid "b" controlled clutch not engaged). the tranny temp was up to almost 250. anyone got any info on this would very much appreciated. just spent my last dollar on a new tranny and its messin up. not good

take it back to where you got it built at, something is not right.
its running way to hot, could be clogged filters or worse, change the spin on filter and make sure u swap the onto the new one. and cut open the old one to see of its dirty.

solenoid sticking.
Could be as simple as electrical connect. Trash in valve body. Like stated before, plugged filters, etc.
Temps are higher than normal. I have a stage 4 my temps are around 190 right now. If you drive normal, temps usually are around 100 degrees over ambient temp. (w/out upgraded cooler)
The tranny shop needs to fix this.
Did you, the trans shop, or anyone reset the taps?
