Dude, if they're offering free injectors, they wouldn't lie about that. GM/dealerships don't like doing free service, so if they're offering it, chances are that's what it is. Take them up on that, get them all replaced!!!
Then after that, see about the injector pump.

Should i tell them to kiss my or just have them put the injectors on and go somewhere else?
if he says theyre free get them injectors for free. sometimes the injectors can make other things look bad

Ya, play their game, BUT tell them to do the injectors first and see if that fixes it.

I had the same prob and it was my injectors. GM replaced all free of charge. Anyone know where to get the definitions of trouble codes? I am getting P0089 when I pull the DTC's. Help please.

I have an 03 duramax with 368000 on the o.d. gone through 4 sets of injectors and that is it. was a hot shot rig up tilll 25000 miles ago. found out that the main reason for the injectors going out was because of the fuel filter. dealerships use a dual element filter where everything else is a single element. went back to the factory filters and have not had a problem since.
