Danny's no help, need transmission suggestions
just messin danny. you've been alot of help.
but yeah he was bein smart with me. i asked if there was somethin i could buy for my tranny so i will quit throwin this 0735 code that shuts off my 5th gear besides a suncoast stage 4 and he suggested a suncoast stage 3
but yeah it only happens if i go over 25-2600rpms over like 70mph. i want to get something a little cheaper so i don't have to wait so long to start racing on a strip on my 5th tune.
any suggestions?

if you pull on a car, you pull end of the race. if you start behind get better r/t.
but if you would like my opinion on what you should do. you can get a transgo kit. them kits i would recommend a shop install it. you will have to get the transmission pulled out and have it torn down a bit to have who whole kit instaled. its not the 6 speed t.go jr where u replace 2 valves.
and while you got the trans out get a good convetor. it helps out so much and the aftermarket ones can withstand a beating.
you can get it done for about with parts and labor for around 2500 bucks if ou look around for a good shop. but with that set up you can maybe hold about 500hp with it.
u can race on a 8th mile track. 4th gear goes to about 70+ before shifting

yeah but i can't go over 2600 in 4rth gear. that's where my problem is. but yeah i think i might take it to the chevrolet dealership. they said they would charge me about 600 bucks to take out my tranny and replace parts. and i was thinkin about just getting a converter but i wasn't sure. the thing is that it will take me awhile to get $2500 to spend. that's why i'm not just buying a suncoast kit right now. and the reason i'm going to a dealership to get it put in is because the only diesel shops i know of only do work on fords or dodges or both. so i'm screwed there. but idk there are some decent tranny shops here but i'm not sure what they can and can't do. but the chevy dealership i think said they would warrenty their install.and you think i'll only hit 70 or so in an 1/8 mile?
