I want a new truck, and thanks to some new found money (thanks NAVY) i have it. I spyed a 2002 GMC 2500 standard cap long bed duramax 5sp allison with 113k on the clock for $13500. good deal or no? it looks clean and its all stock excpet for some guages. i a cummins fan but i cant bring my self to buy a dodge
thanks guys.
thanks guys.
i bought my 2003 gmc 2500 ext cab, short bed, 5speed auto, 2wd, almost top of the line(in that year) with 97000 miles on it for a little over 14k. so i think it's a good deal... but you should probably be able to talk them down a little lower. go to KBB and see what it says it's worth.
oh and mine was a trade in so it probably would've been a little higher priced if i had just bought it straight up.

The injecters were a recall on them, but they had and extended warrenty on thoses so Im not sure if there still under warrenty or not.. the motor is bullet proof dad put his to hell and back and only needed injecters so i say go for it, sounds like you found yourself a nice truck..
You want to avoid a truck that has chronic injector failures. You can find this out by having the VIN ran at the dealer to get the service history. The warranty on the injectors was 7 years or 200K no problem with heads.
