Default Injector replacement

Im looking at replacing injectors in my 02 Dmax. Any segestions on if I should go with stockers or aftermarket? I mainly use the truck for pulling a 40' 5th wheel toyhauler, and while I love power. I am looking for drivability. So far I have Edge Hot Juice, with Attitude. 4in cat back Magna flow exhaust and an AFE cold air intake. My EGT's when pulling are manageable, but I wouldn't want them any hotter. Let me know if you have any segestions on where I should go next. I'm open for any feedback. Also is there any ideas for cooling EGT's?

are they bad right now or going bad/ you can still the the dealer to replace them if they go south.

Id say stay with stock ones if your going to stay below 700hp. what kind of egts are you seeing. i knew a feller who makes headers for dmax and you can see a 100* decrease in egt's and good for towing.

The truck is smoking pretty bad at idle, The truck is under the 100k warrenty but out of the 6 year warrenty. I understand GM is extending the warrenty on the injectors if they are cracked, but I dont think thats my issue. I think they are sticking. I tried an injector cleaner the past few tanks of fuel but I think its getting worse. I imagine they are just warn. The headers for the engine sounds like a great advanage. The manifolds on that engine is clearly restrictive.

the gm warranty is 200k miles and 7 years, remove the edge programmer and take it to the dealer. and if they don't replace them go to another dealer.

I am told the warrenty extention is not covering warn injectors. Just cracked injectors.
Fuel in crank case, hard start, rough running, are some of the symptoms of cracked injectors. I am not having any of these problems. Mine is just smoking really bad at idle, and exhaust is really strong with the smell of diesel. I'm told they can test to see if it holds rail pressure if it does they wont be covered under the warrenty. Anyone else hear about this?

Someone can take EFI Live or HP Tuners and log your injector balance rates at idle...you can bring that data to the dealer and they should take care of you.

Pour a gallon of diesel into the crankcase and take it in...

Never tell a tech how to do their job, you will just **** them off. If you have a problem, they will find the problem.
