They are all the same design, which still incorporates GM's flaws that make them fail. I was just saying there is no completely different aftermarket injector out there for the LB7. yet.....

Is there a way to tell which ones have the minor changes?? I've done numerous injector jobs here at my work with a few that have failed multiple times in the same vehicle. I'd be very curious to know which injectors they are.

I know we have but truthfully I couldn't even tell you the cars I worked on yesterday . I do know that the '03+ body style is definantly the more common one around here. I'm curious though if there is any physical looking difference as my injectors are about gone in my pickup. If so, I can rummage through our parts stock and make sure I get the newer versions at least. I'm not going to risk a kickback on our dealership by warrantying them.

they have dates on the injector body, my aunt workes for bosch she was telling my how to read the production dates on them but i forgot. when the bodies started failing bosch did find out the cause and made the bodies a little stronger, but they still fail... just not as often.

If you could try to figure out again how to read those. I'd greatly appreciate it

are there any other less expensive upgraded injectors for the LB7? $1,100 for a set of injectors that bump 50hp at the wheels seems high.......or am I off-base?

I saw the numbers but had no clue what they meant I'll see if I can sneak into parts and check out a few.
