Default New Truck

Hey my brother is looking at trading his Chevy 1500 to a neighbor for his 2002 2500 6.6L, just need some info on the All Tranny and the 6.6. I don't want to see him end up with something he will not be happy with!! It has 52,000 on it and the guy is a little older, so he takes real good care of it, the original owner and all stock. Just used it to haul his cattle and other farm equipment around!! Any info will be appreciated!! Thanks fellas, I'm a Cummins guy, don't know anything about Duramax

Is his neighbor an IDIOT??!!! I'd jump on faster than a fat kid jumping on a Twinkie.

Has his neighbor's truck ever been BOMBed?

Get the VIN ran and see if it's ever had the injectors replaced. If it has then I don't foresee any major troubles coming his way. If they haven't been replaced he may still be within the 7 yr/200,000 mile injector warranty coverage anyway.
