I have a lb7 .the cluster works when it wants .but over the last month i have tracked it down.or atleast want some opinions and questions answered.


Is the tumbler or ignition switch connected in some way to the cluster.

I have a shitty tumbler.and more times rather then less it takes some wiggle to start the truck.ive noticed on days the key goes in freely and turns with ease is when the cluster works.

The whole cluster works or it doesnt.
Was rebuilt in 2011 from prev owner.

I took it to a local that rebuilds them and he said processor was bad but im sceptical about the ignition switch and tumbler

Any insight would help

 

I've had 2 03-07 chevys and no issue with keys affecting dash. Dash is the know issue. Get a replacement.
