Default 2002 LB7 Injector Questions

I have been actively looking to get back into a diesel truck every since my 2013 LML Left.
I was looking at 5.9L Cummins trucks. Today I found another option.

Truck is a 2002 LB7 Duramax Crew Cab with 205k miles. Loaded with options. 1 owner.
All stock.
20x12 fuel octanes.
Nitto 420s 305/50R/20s, 1,500 miles on them
Truck needs injectors, has two new injectors, injector lines, and a new cp3.

The truck falls well into my budget. Here is what I am looking at so to get the truck back up to running and driving.

ALLIGATOR LB7 INJECTOR PACKAGE
-8 OEM replacement LB7 Injectors (1 Year/ 15,000 Mile Warranty) 0986435502 (SET)
-Merchant Automotive Injector Install Kit MER-10058
-AirDog II 165 or FASS Titanium 150
-AFE Fuel Filter AFE-44-FF011

Are there any thoughts before I pull the trigger on this?

My LB7 just had the injectors take a dump. Might want to call Brent at LDS. Good prices, fantastic customer service.

Looking at buying a 2004 lb7 4x4 3500 with 260000 miles for $6000 is this a decent deal? Should I be scared of the miles?

Mileage alone is not really a basis for value. If the body is in great shape and the suspension it could be a good price.

The first things I check are the suspension and fluid in the difs. That is the last thing most people will maintain on the truck unless it breaks. Obviously if it has had engine work I would want to see the paperwork or at least proof.

For example i bought mine cheap with the assumption I would have to put at least a used engine in it within two years and added that to my cost figure. I got lucky that it only needed head gaskets and injectors but still a $2500 expense minimum IF you can do the labor yourself. If not look around $5500 for a job like that at the dealer.

Then again value is something that is relative to the buyer only. You could post pictures and we could tell you if WE would pay $6000 but at the end of the day you have to determine if it's worth it to you.
