Default Heater control lights don't work.

I have a 01 Duramax and I was going to replace the bulbs in the heater controls so I could see them at night. Any pointers as to what bulb it is replaced with?

Unless you plan on soldering the new bulbs in, you should consider just buying a new control panel. I did my 2002 a while back. The lights are made onto the circuit board. Apparently GM wants you to replace the panel when the lights go. As I said, I did replace my bulbs but I do electronics for a living. Not sure I'd recommend de-soldering old bulbs and soldering in new bulbs to the average Joe.

I'm pretty decent with soldering. My line of work we do quite a bit of it and one of our tech guys that was in the Air Force was pretty much a solder master learned me how to do it
