Default Fuel Problems

I am having problems with my truck shutting off. It idles fine then will drive for a few minutes and die again. I have been having this problem for roughly a month. I figured it was a fuel filter problem, I replaced it and continues to do the same thing. I recently purchased an Air Dog 100 and filter delete. It started and idled fine but when I tried to drive it, it died again. I cracked the bleeder screw while the Air Dog was running and nothing happened. So, I then tried priming with the priming bulb, and the bulb was suctioned down and would not come up. I'm running out of ideas and need help. Thank you.

I'm new to the d max but sounds like you may have something going on in your filter housing. I'd try either taking it apart and cleaning it and seeing if any parts are bad. Does it fire back up after it dies? It may be only allowing just enough pressure to keep it idling but won't flow enough to pull a load. With your priming button stuck down there's either a suction issue or its holding a passage almost completely closed not supplying enough fuel supply.

check the little ball on the bottom of the filter housing. it is my understanding that this needs to be removed with the filter delete. the stock filter pushes this ball in so fuel can flow. with the delete it stays in the closed position and prevents fuel from passing
