Default EFI live help

Im looking at getting EFI live. My truck is BONE stock. No exhaust. No cold air intake. Heres my problem..

someone told me if i got EFI live without a straight pipe or a cold air intake i would just tear my truck up.

is this true?
Does anyone have a bone stock truck with efi live? if so any problems because of it?

You can run it on a stock truck. It will run better with other upgrades but your not going to hurt anything as long as you drive smart.

the thing about efi live is it is not a canned tuner. you tell your tuner what mods you have and what you kind of tune you want and they will build a tune for you. efi live can make tunes with no increase in HP and 1 HP up to 1000+ HP. it is all customization. if you tune it to "tear it up" it will, if you tune it to last it will.
