I was just wondering what all your guys' opinions were as far as what you'd be willing to pay in the difference from a tuned truck to a stock truck. It seems to vary because some people rather that stock truck to "build your own" truck, but some people tend to like the work done already for them. Where do you guys stand?

 

it all depends on what was done to it and how it was treated.

most dont want to purchase a tuned truck because, with out knowing the history, it may have been abused or driven hard, etc. thus shortening its life or causing issues. if it had the stock tune for its whole life then it is likely it wasn't overworked and still has a reasonable life left.

 

Personal opinion but I'd rather buy a bone stock one, there are many things to take into consideration on a modded truck, was it ran hard and abused, was the work done right, if it has EFI Live are the tunes even good, etc, even if the truck has intake and exhaust and isn't tuned there is a 70/30 chance that it used to be tuned
