the bosch ones should have hardened seats, it was the original run of injectors IIRC where GM cheaped out.. That is why one could get injectors cheaper from GM than Bosch when they were the same thing, now that GM is allegedly sourcing other than genuine bosch injectors who knows...

I know I priced a lb7 job this week at $4400.00 with a complete service and one year warranty. Not counting lines of course . Local GM dealer priced it at 3500 with same thing including lines. Turns out their retail price on injectors is now $239.00 per injector. Atleast it is at my dealer. I think we all know how much genuine bosch injectors COST a vendor or dealer... I won't touch it for that. They guaranteed that the price wouldn't increase to the customer. That leaves a shop with genuine bosch parts at a margin of around 15%. How would you even stay in business if a couple came back?

well, whatever they are doing, it is not solving the problem. sure the issues are less but so are the number of LB7s on the road. even if they are hardened chrome plated seats, the same problems are happening. so it looks like it is back to the drawing board.

looks like the only real solution to the LB7 is the LLY or LBZ classic.
