Default My injector values, looking for opinions

I have only had the truck about a week now, 180,000 miles and dealing with some white smoke that smells like raw fuel.

I just finished scanning the truck and injector values are as follows;

In park 1-7 all had a value of 4 or 5 and the number 8 had a value of 3.

In drive all eight injectors had a value of 6 or 7.

I have also learned that for some reason the trucks operating temp never exceeds 150 F

I realize the injector values are pushing what is allowable as far a specs go.

I am also thinking that if the truck is never reaching normal operating temp that it may be running choked all the time. This may be the reason for my white smoke as well.

I am not looking forward to replacing the injectors, I would like to drive it for more than a week. I am hoping that at least some of my smoke issue may be due to the fact that it never gets above 150 F.

Any opinions would be appreciated

The temperature might be a thermostat that stays open, diesel burns at low temperature compared to gas, but should still get hotter than 150 degrees. Might check the thermostat. Usually white diesel smoke is caused by the diesel not getting warm when it burns, my 6.5 puffs out white smoke when I start it all the time, after changing glow plugs it only smokes white when it is really cold. Its not a duramax, but should be a decent enough comparison for the white smoke.
Good luck on the injectors, just one for a D-max cost as much as a whole set for me, but the d-max is worth the extra money too.

Thanks for your reply, I know the injectors are going to need replacement, unfortunately they are going to have to wait for a bit. I will check out thermostat good chance that it is the reason it runs cold thanks.
