Im not any sort of expert with tuning these programmers and im also moving because im in the military so i cant keep a steady guy that knows what he is doing. From the research i have done im thinking the edge w/ juice is the best bet easy to program. Ive heard EFI live is the best programmer but i have no experience with tuning and dont really want to trust anyone on a limb to program it for me any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.

 

duramaxtuner.com, fleece performance theses guys know duramax efi live and you can use a dsp5 switch with multiple tunes or you could buy the spade tuner wich works like any other flash tuner. EFI live is best way to go and you can load pre made or custom tunes onto your truck without having any tuning experience.

 

Thanks for the help. Are there certain tunes from EFI live where i can roll some coals i know its not very good for the truck but im getting stacks soon. and would love to be able to roll coals when i feel like it just not all the time. im pretty new to the diesel world so im trying to learn all i can.

the guys that write tunes can do about anything you want just talk with them and go from there. They could easily write a tune for a smoke show but the true beauty with efi live is clean power. The smoke fad is fading fast due to smoke tickets epa and problems with pissing off other people on the road.

 

That sounds outstanding and i know the fad of rolling coals is fading i dont want it just to show off.i do love rolling coals but i want it mainly if some lil pruis pisses me off id like to smoke him out . And would you recommend the PPE boost valve?

what all does that help with? im guessing filtration. but what else any added hp? ive also heard they make some weird noise?

 

I would have to agree that EFI live tuning is the best way to make good power... But an edge juice is a great chip as well!
