On almost every diesel performance site I look on they are selling what they call a boost increase valve. Its made by PPE an only cost $30. It sounds to good to be true. Anyone have any info on it?

Its good for adding a couple extra Lbs of boost definitely. Those couple extra Lbs doesnt always mean HP though....

Alot of the time its just HOT air that doesnt always help

I was lookin at getting a cold air intake. What would be the best? Most people around here run K&N

The boost valve helps if you have a tune, woke mine up. As for intake do not get k&n! I run a bills custom intake its awesome! Great sound.
Other mods for airflow that help quite a bit is porting your intake horn, or buying a kit that has intake and horn together.

Intake over boost valve. Boost valve doesn't help like it was said till really you put tune to it. Intake turbo horn is nice mod too. Mine sounds wicked with the intake and the intake turbo horn.
