for those of you that cannot afford a new block when the outer starter bolthole breaks, here are some pics of my cheap fix

i don't know what's wrong with my links to the pics
basically i lengthened the tail brace to within 1/4 inch of the pan rail and put a bolt through as a spacer against the block so it's not hanging in the breeze.
then i cut a piece of 1/4 x 1 flat to span the starter bolts and stick out passed to directly below the top splash pan bolt, replaced the bolt with a eye-bolt and dropped a j-bolt through and sucked it up tight
