Default 93 to 97 6.5

hello all im new here i recently got a 93 crew cab chevy dually with a blow 6.5 diesel i have also recently found a 97 6.5 diesel complete motor and trans myquestion is how hard is it going to be to put this 97 motor in my 93 is there a difference between injection pumps and if so can i put my 93 injection pump on the 97 motor?????

Well first off make sure you have a good engine hoist as these are very heavy engines and you will have to switch intakes and injection pumps due to the 93 has mechanical injection and the 97 has the electronic injection good luck

ok thank you one more question i want to run a intercooler on it can i just find a intercooler and fab it up to work or do i have to go buy an expensive intercooler kit oh and where can i find a dual thermostat housing for a reasonable price thanks again.
