x2 cviola2005 is the wait to start coming on and if so you should here the silinoid click on and and off when click off the wait to start light will go off. now if no light comes check for power at silinoid (looks like a ford starter silinoind in the valley off intake ) if you have power going to it (make sure no less than 12volts and no more than12.8volts) cause if more will shatter glow plugs in motor and that is a boom waiting to blow) no if you have a good power supply try simply crossing over to big post and see if the light comes on and let glow plugs warm up for no more than 20sec on hot day like now and see if it will start on its own. get us posted.

Yeah next i would pull wires of glow plugs and c if you have 12 volts and if so congrads u got it . R&R glow plugs the are not to costly but i would recomend useing bosch and not autolights. Or do what do i use strickly AC delco for parts on these truck they are tempermental. For example on oil pressure switch ac delco will read lik 39lbs @ hot idle andBWD will read 20lbs @ hot idle and the fluctuate and dont last. It is that saying you get what you pay for ... And in the case of a 6.5 there is no room for failure they are very very very temperamental as you can see. But i love them and you will too once you get them figured out. And easy to work on too

X2 on AC Delco parts on these engines spend the extra money when replacing sensors and switches and thermostats for these trucks you will save yourself a bunch of headaches and possibly an engine had a buddy that replaced a oil sending unit that was made by BWD and within a week the top popped off and lost all his oil and his engine within a couple minutes
